IT asset management

Every device on record,
from purchase to disposal.

What it does

IT asset management, in detail

Owned, rented or leased

Owned, rented, leased, contracted, customer-owned or vendor-managed, with the party and end date; rentals and leases remind you as they end.

How it works: Owned, rented or leased

Software licences

Licences with seat counts and renewal dates, assigned to people or devices, with over-allocation and upcoming renewals flagged.

How it works: Software licences

Labels, audits and buying

From purchase request to verified on the shelf

A guided way to add assets

Add asset walks through details, purchase, owner, place, warranty and software, warns about a serial already on record, and keeps an unfinished one if you close it.

Purchase requests, approved

Requests need a second approver, and finance above an amount you set. Budgets per cost centre show spend, and receiving creates the asset records.

How it works: Purchase requests, approved

Label designs, any printer

Design labels with the tag, a QR code or barcode and your logo. Print sheets, single labels or straight to a Zebra printer, and see what still needs one.

How it works: Label designs, any printer

Smart labels for lost assets

An opt-in QR with a random code: a finder sees only your company and the tag and can message you. Every scan is logged, and a code can be switched off.

How it works: Smart labels for lost assets

Audits with a phone

Count assets by scanning their labels, then reconcile what is missing or not in the register. Blind counts, recounts, cycle counts and room walks are optional.

How it works: Audits with a phone

Audit readiness at a glance

Every asset from registered to tagged, labelled and verified, a readiness score out of 100, and rules that queue labels and chase what is stuck.

Handovers people sign for

Each holder acknowledges receipt in My Assets and can sign on screen. It stays in the chain of custody with the policy version they accepted.

How it works: Handovers people sign for

Consumables and spare stock

Toner, cables and spares with quantities and minimum levels. Every receive, issue or adjustment is recorded, and stock never goes below zero.

Questions

How do I import assets using Excel?

There is no spreadsheet import today, and we would rather tell you that than pretend otherwise. For computers, deploy the monitoring agent — each machine auto-creates its asset record as it enrols. For other items, use Add asset, then select them and use bulk edit to set shared fields (department, location, ownership). You can always export the asset register to Excel or CSV.

How do I export the asset register?

From the Assets list, apply any filters you want and use the export (CSV or Excel). Lifecycle and licence views have their own exports too. Exports respect your data scope and are audited. They are available once your service provider has switched exports on for your company.

A machine was re-enrolled and now appears twice — what do I do?

The platform correlates device identities and flags likely duplicates. Open the duplicates view, confirm the match, and merge the new record into the original so history and assignments stay on one asset. Auto-resolution is available as an opt-in governance setting.

What is network discovery?

With discovery enabled (a governance opt-in), agents passively note other devices on the local network from ARP neighbours. Discovered devices are de-duplicated by MAC and classified by vendor and hostname; you can promote one into your asset register or dismiss it. Nothing is added automatically.
